The Redskins play their home games at FedExField, which is located in Landover, Maryland. The franchise has played more than one thousand games since its foundation, 88 years ago. The franchise is recognized as the fifth most valuable franchise of the NFL that is reported by Forbes. The team, when founded, began playing as a Boston Braves and was located in Boston. Daniel Snyder owns the franchise.
The official theme color for the Washington Redskins uniform is gold and burgundy. In 2007, they set the record attendance during an NFL season. From 1936 to 1945, the team went six times to the NFL championships. Out of six, they won only two. The second 10-year span of the team’s ultimate success came between 1982 to 1991. During this time, the team appeared seven times in the postseason, won three Super Bowl championships out of four, and won four conference titles. The current franchise value is worth approximately $3.1 billion. The franchise has no official mascot, but till 2006, they had an unofficial mascot who was known as Chief Zee.
