The Chicago Cubs is one of the American professional baseball teams that is based in Chicago, Illinois. The franchise competes as a club member of the National League's Central Division in Major League Baseball (MLB). The Cubs play its home games at Wrigley Field (located at the Northside of the city). The team played in 6 former ballparks in its history, including West Side Park (II), South Side Park, West Side Park (I), Lakefront Park (I), 23rd Street Grounds, and a few more.

The Chicago Cubs were back-to-back winners of World Series championships in the years 1907 and 1908, winning the third one in 2016. The team appeared 11 times in the World Series. It is the first major league team to play in the World Series, three times consecutively.
