The Tower Theater is an indoor theatre which is located at Terminal Square section of upper Darby, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1927 and was opened a year later by John H. McClatchy as one of Upper Darby Township's first movie houses. It has a seating capacity of 3,119people at a time. In 1972, a significant fire set out due to which the entire venue was renovated, and it is still under constant refurbishment till now. Tower Theater primarily hosted both vaudeville acts and movies back in1970s, but now it is used for live music shows, concerts, and other music events.
