Renovation of the Arts Center took place in the year 2009 (fall) before the grand opening of the arena in January 2010. The architecture of the arts center was designed by Clifford Balch and engineer Floyd E. Stanberry. The design of the building is based on the Spanish Colonial Revival style.
The Fox Performing Arts Center featured the movie “Gone With the Wind” in 1939. The theatre is also honored by the performances of some well-known artists of their time such as Judy Garland and Bing Crosby.
