The Price is Right LIVE is one of the most popular game shows ever. It is a staged production show from the original The Price is Right. It was hosted by several hosts and announcers including Todd Newton, Marc Summers, Pat Finn, Mark L. Bob Goen, Alan Thicke, Drew Lachey, Joey Fatone, and currently George Gray. The announcers included Randy West who was the regular Las Vegas announcer for several years, then replaced by Daniel Rosen, David Ruprecht, JD Roberto, Dave Walls and some other announcers.
The staged or taped live shows took place at Caesars Entertainment casinos, followed by the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut. Recently they are being held at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Florida.
In the show, the audience is asked a series of questions about guessing the pricing of an item, sometimes they are required to respond in keypads. Prior to the main game, the contestants are held for a small guessing round before the registration and those with top scores qualify to One-Bid, which is like a final round of the game show. In the final round the fastest and most accurate contestant in One-Bid round receives a prize of $100 in credits. Other participants from the audience receive a T-shirt from the game show.
