Diana, a Joe DiPietro and David Bryan musical depicting the royal life of the late Princess of Walles is coming to Broadway this spring. The performance will begin on March 2, 2020, at the Longacre Theatre.
The musical cum bio of Diana made its debut earlier this year at the La Jolla Playhouse’s Mandell Weiss Theatre, winding up on April 14. The musical takes the audience through the married life of Princess Diana to Prince Charles and their divorce.
The role of Princess Diana is played by Jeanna de Waal, Prince Charles by Roe Hartrampf, Erin Davie as Camilla Parker Bowles and Judy Kaye as Queen Elizabeth. The musical comes against a backdrop of many musical playing without original songs. The Diana musical will feature plenty of new music coming to Broadway.
