He is the twenty-eighth coach in the history of the Temple Owls. The home ground for the Temple Owls is Lincoln Financial Field, which can accommodate a massive number of sixty-eight thousand people at a time.
The Temple Owl has participated in total eight Bowl games till now and out of which, three victories and five surrenders. Steve Joachim, a promising team member of the Temple Owl, had won Maxwell Award in 1974. Tyler Matakevich won Chuck Bednarik Award in 2015, and the same year, he won Bronko Nagurski Trophy as well.
