His career is marked by his collaboration with the industry's biggest performers. He has worked with different genres, be it Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, Funk, Rock, etc. He is also the brother of James Andrews, who is also a trumpeter.
Trombone Shorty learnt to play the trombone since he was Four years old and since then has mastered it like a true professional. He has collaborated or opened for many famous artists such as Lenny Kravitz and Aerosmith throughout his career. He is currently a member of the band Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue.
