Formed in the year 1993, The String Cheese Incident is an America band. They have originated from Crested Butte and Telluride in Colorado. The lineup of the band consists of Michael Kang as the mandolin player, guitarist, and violinist, Michael Tavis as the drummer and Bill Nershi as an acoustic guitarist, lap steel guitarist, and electric slide guitarist. Kyle Hollingsworth is the pianist, organ player and the accordion player and Keith Moseley is the bassist. Being an instrumental band, The String Cheese Incident draws their inspiration from rock, electronica, country music, funk, jazz and especially from bluegrass.
As the band and its popularity grew, the show they put up during live performances also kept on getting better and better.
