PAX also knew as Penny Arcade Expo is a chain of gaming cultures that includes video gaming, Arcade, and Tabletop. This event is held annually in different places including; Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia, and San Antonio in the United States; and Melbourne in Australia. PAX was invented initially by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik as an event dedicated only to gaming.
The first even PAX was held on 28-29 August in the year 2004 in Bellevue, Washington and Meydenbauer Center. This event was attended by about 3300 people, for the next two years, this event used to be held in august in the same venue. Over the years the popularity of this event snowballed. PAX West then moved to a new location Washington State Convention and Trade Center, and the total attendance was around 39000 at the time.
After the success of PAX in Washington, this event then expanded to different cities of the united states as well as few other countries.
