Papa Roach Information
Papa Roach started as rap-influenced outfit and hardcore punk but later grew into a straight-ahead hard rock ensemble with strong heavy metal leanings. This band was formed in 1993 in California and consisted of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, drummer Dave Buckner, bassist Will James, and trombonist Ben Luther. After about two extended plays, Will James left the band and was replaced by Tobin Esperance.
Before signing with any record label, Papa Roach has successfully released two extended plays. Later the signed with DreamWorks Records in the year 1999. For this record label, Papa Roach released their album Infest, which is a triple-platinum album in 2000. Then they came out with the gold album Love hate tragedy in 2002 and the platinum album Getting Away with Murder in 2004. A year after these albums, Papa Roach released another album The Paramour Sessions in the year 2006.
