Meek Mill, who was born with the name Robert Rihmeek Williams was raised in Philadelphia in Pennsylvania in the United States. His musical career started as a battle rapper after which he created a rap group called The Bloodhoundz in 2008 which had a short-lived career in the music business.
The rapper made his first record deal with T.I., who is an Atlanta-based rapper and signed up with Atlanta record Labels.
After this, he launched Dream Chasers Records, which is named after his mixtape series. He had also appeared on the MMG's compilation series called "Self-Made”. Among his first two singles are "Tupac Back" and "Ima Boss" which were included on volume one of the series.
Studio albums:
• Dreams and Nightmares (2012) - In February 2017 Meek Mill was listed as the "#7 hottest MC" by MTV, in their annual "Hottest M.C.s in the Game" list.
• The second installment for the series, "dreamchaser" was released in the May of 2019. It was downloaded more than a million times within 6 hours of its release.
• Roc Nation management signed with Meek mills on May 10.
• The album named "Dreams Worth More Than Money" was released in 2015
• His third studio album was Wins & Losses which was released in 2017
• Championships was another album that he released in November 16, 2018. He announced the release of his fourth album in November itself. The album was flooded with positive reviews by critics and even received a position in Billboards top 200. It sold more than 200,000 album-equivalent units in its first week out of which 42,000 came from pure sales.
