Chris Lake Information
Chris Lake is a British electronic music producer and DJ born in Norwich, England on August 8, 1982. He first rose to fame in 2002 for his remixes of the bootlegs of Climbatize by The Prodigy, Phat Planet by Leftfield, and Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.
In 2006, he debuted on the UK Single Chart with Changes featuring Laura V with the track peaking at No.27. The following year he released another single Carry Me Away featuring Emma Hewitt, and the track topped Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Chart.
He got his first Grammy Nomination in 2012 for the collaboration he did with Deadmau5 on the album 4x4=12. Lake had a good run in the year 2015; he released five tracks under Ultra Records. One of the tracks, Chest, got a lot of praises from NestHQ. Another one, Piano Hand in which he collaborated with Chris Lorenzo was premiered on the Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show and made it to the Billboard chart.
In September 2015, he released another single, Stranger, which according to 1001tracklists, was played at all the major festivals across the U.S. At the same time, Lake went on a 3-month tour across North America playing at some of the biggest festivals and venues including the Hard Day of the Dead, U Street Music Hall, and Foundation Nightclub.
