The James M. Nederlander Theatre is located at 24 West Randolph Street, Chicago, Illinois. The theatre was opened to the public in 1926 with a seating capacity of around 2,253 people at a time. The theatre is owned by Broadway In Chicago. Rapp and Rapp designed the architecture of the theater. It went through a renovation in the years 1996-1998. The theatre is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Known as the Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre for years, the venue changed names in 2018.

The Nederlander Theatre has hosted hundreds of different events and shows every year since its inauguration. The Addams Family pre-Broadway run was hosted at this venue from November 19, 2009, to January 10, 2010, where Bebe Neuwirth and Nathan Lane were starring. Another pre-Broadway that is hosted by the arena was Spongebob Squarepants from June 7 to July 10, 2016.
