Located in the downtown of Miami, Florida, The James L. Knight Center Complex is ac convention and contemporary entertainment complex. It was opened in 1982 within the Miami Central Business District. Named after famous newspaper publisher, James L. Knight, this complex has hosted many entertainment, business, and political events. Every year, Miami Dade College graduation ceremonies are held here. Moreover, at this complex, beauty pageants such as Miss Universe in 1984 and 1985, Miss USA in 1986 and Miss Teen USA in 1985 were hosted. The James L. Knight Center Complex is located on the beautiful Miami River near Bayfront Park. The complex is looked after by Knight Center station for the Metromover. The seating capacity of Ashe auditorium is 444; the Riverfront Exhibition hall is 3200, James L. Knight Center Theater is 4,569. What more, its Exhibit hall floor has a superb area of 28,000 sqft.
