Union Church Catalyst Nights Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena Baltimore

UMBC Center is a multi-purpose arena located within the campus of the University of Maryland at Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, Maryland. It opened to the general public on February 3rd, 2018, with an opening match against Vermont. It has a seating capacity of approximately 4,586 for sports and 5,245 for concerts and other events. The arena is owned by the University of Maryland Baltimore County while operated and managed by Oak View Group Facilities. Cannon Designs designed the architecture of the building. It serves home to the UMBC Retrievers Men’s and Women’s Basketball as well as Volleyball Teams.

The UMBC Center hosts Commencement Ceremonies, concerts, wrestling matches, featured speakers, stage shows, banquets, and many other entertainment events. UMBC Volleyball Retriever Challenge, Mothers Day celebration, The All White Affair, Ring of Honour Wrestling, PJ Mask Live, The Millennium Tour, R&B Rewind Jam, Garden Bros Circus, A Perfect Circle, Double Dare Live, Lost 80s Live, Summer Lights Tour, A Day to Remember, and Community Open House are some of the successful events hosted at UMBC Event Center in a concise span of time.
