UMass Minutemen at UMass Lowell River Hawks Mens Hockey Tsongas Center Lowell

Tsongas Center is a multi-purpose faculty located at Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Lowell, Massachusetts. It is known for providing quality entertainment to all ages. The Tsongas Center opened for the general public on January 27th,1998, and was dedicated to the memory of Paul Tsongas (Lowell native and U.S senator). It has a seating capacity of 6000 people for sports events and 7000 for concerts and other events. It is owned by the University of Massachusetts Lowell while operated and managed by Spectra. The venue is home to the NCAA Division I University of Massachusetts Lowell River Hawks Ice Hockey Team and Men’s Basketball Team.

It also hosts skating competitions, Graduation Ceremonies, Concerts, Job Fairs, Open House for prospective students, Chancellor’s Speaker Series, boxing and wrestling matches, stage shows, and many other entertainment events. A debate between U.S Senator Scott Brown and challenger Elizabeth Warren took place in the faculty. Alternative Rock Pioneer Pixies Live Concert in 2004 and NWHL Isobel Cup Final 2017 are a few notable events that were hosted by Tsongas Center. Other events include Holy Roar Tour, George Bossi Lowell Wrestling Holiday Tournament, MIAA Basketball State Playoffs, WWE Live Matches, Blood Donation Drives, and much more. Alexander Pires, Chris Tomlin, Meck Mill, and Oprah Winfrey are few of the famous artists who performed at Tsongas Center.

You can purchase tickets for any upcoming events from the box office of Tsongas Center on Monday through Friday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
