The U.S. Cellular Center, which was initially known as the Asheville Civic Center Complex, is a multi-purpose entertainment center. It is located at 87 Haywood Street, Asheville, North Carolina. The center was opened to the general public on June 22, 1974, with a seating capacity of 7,674 (Explore Asheville), 2,431 (Wolfe Auditorium), and 500 (Banquet Hall). The arena is owned and operated by the City of Asheville.

Three facilities that are owned by this arena are the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, which is a horseshoe-shaped theatre built-in 1939, and opened in January 1940. The second is the Banquet Hall that serves 500 people at a time, and it is a ballroom. The third is the ExploreAsheville.com Arena, which is the largest facility of the U.S. Cellular Center with a seating capacity of around 7,674 guests at a time.

The Southern Conference arranged 2012, 2013, and 2014 basketball tournaments in this arena. Some notable event which took place at the venue during the year 2013 and beyond are Curious George, The National (Band), TNA, WWE, The Color Purple, Atlanta Hawks, Sugarland, The Family Stone, Band of Horses and many other uncountably have been hosted at U.S. Cellular Center since its inauguration.
