The Berglund Center, previously known as Roanoke Civic Center, consists of the main Coliseum with 10,500 seats, the Performing Arts Theatre with 2151 seats, 46,000 square feet, a 14,000 square feet special event Center and the Berglund hall, hosts over 400,000 guests and 400 events annually.

Originally, it opened in 1971, it was home for American Basketball Association, which later hosted many special and historical events like Elvis Presley performances, WWE matches, basketball tournaments, and ice hockey events.
