UMBC Center is a multi-purpose arena located within the campus of the University of Maryland at Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, Maryland. It opened to the general public on February 3rd, 2018, with an opening match against Vermont. It has a seating capacity of approximately 4,586 for sports and 5,245 for concerts and other events. The arena is owned by the University of Maryland Baltimore County while operated and managed by Oak View Group Facilities. Cannon Designs designed the architecture of the building. It serves home to the UMBC Retrievers Men’s and Women’s Basketball as well as Volleyball Teams.
The UMBC Center hosts Commencement Ceremonies, concerts, wrestling matches, featured speakers, stage shows, banquets, and many other entertainment events.
