The Amway Center is known as a popular sports and entertainment venue, located on 400 West Church Street, Orlando, Florida. It opened its door to the public on October 1, 2010, with a construction cost of over $480 million ($559 million in 2018). The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 29, 2010, where Orlando’s Mayor Buddy Dyer was invited. He gave his first-ever Annual Downtown address in this ceremony.

The Amway Center was built in 1989 and has following seating capacity; 17,030 (Center Stage Concert), 16,486 (End Stage Concert), 18,846 (NBA), 20,000 (NCAA Basketball), 17,353 (Ice Hockey), and 17,192 (Arena Football). The first-ever concert that was held in the Amway Center took place on October 8 by Vicente Fernandez along with Edith Marquez. The Center has also hosted the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, an honor for this place.
