The center holds the seating capacity of 2,677 people at a time which includes 1,921 for orchestra and 756 for balcony. Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation built it in 1972. San Jose center of performing arts is currently under the ownership of the City of San Jose while managed and operated by Team San Jose. Taliesin Associated Architects designed the center.
