Evansville Thunderbolts at Quad City Storm
The TaxSlayer Center, which was formerly known as The MARK of the Quad Cities and the iWireless Center, is located at 1201 River Drive, Moline, Illinois, USA. It is a multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity of 12,000 which is distributed as 3,000 (theater concerts), 9,200 (hockey), and 6,000 (amphitheater concerts). The venue was opened to the general public on May 28, 1993, with a construction cost of $33.4 million. It is operated and owned by the Quad City Civic Center Authority while the architectural design was carried out by Ellerbe Becket. The venue has received numerous architectural industry awards. It serves home to the Quad City Storm in the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Quad City Steamwheelers of the Indoor Football League.
The arena hosts concerts, sports shows, family shows, wrestling events, theatre, and various events. Some top sports events hosted at this venue are Mid-Continent Conference men's basketball tournament, Women's Basketball Tournament 2016 by Missouri Valley Conference, arena football Quad City Steamwheelers, etc. The TaxSlayer Center also hosted the 1997 Great American Bash and 2015 King of the Ring along with Raw, ECW, and SmackDown. It also hosted WWE The Shield's Final Chapter on April 21, 2019. Neil Diamond performed at the arena on October 1, 2017, at the inauguration ceremony.
The TaxSlayer Center box office hours are Monday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It also opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes 30 minutes after the scheduled event time. You can also purchase tickets online at TicketsOnSale.com.
