Mayo Civic Center arena is located in Rochester, Minnesota. It is primarily an event club and a convention center which serves for versatile purposes. The Mayo Civic Center possesses a vast seating capacity including the arena with 7200 seats, an auditorium consisting of 3000 seats and a presentation theatre with 1084 seats. It also contains a 40000 square feet Ballroom and 23 meeting suites of various sizes. The venue was built in 1938 and opened its doors for the general public in 1939. The arena was presented as a gift to the city by Mayo Properties Associations (Dr. Charles H. Mayo) which is now known as the Mayo Clinic. It is operated by the Mayo Civic Center Commission. The original building of this event facility was designed by Ellerbe and Company of St. Paul. It has been renovated and expanded several times. In 2015, major renovation work was done by adding a vast Ballroom and 16 new breakout rooms. The original 1938 presentation hall was also upgraded. The center also serves as the leading site for meetings and events of the Mayo Clinic. It has remained a hub for the ice hockey team of Rochester Mustangs.

It conducts regular meetings on various agendas along with medical and technical conferences, large business meetings, healthcare summits, medical lectures, and company gatherings. The important events that took place here include World-Class Wrestling programs including WWE Raw, SmackDown and ECW. Some shows of TNA have also been conducted here. Other notable events include Disney Live, Blue Man Group, and Elmo Live, etc. Famous artists who have performed here are Chris Young, Little Big Town, Sheryl Crow, Ladysmith Black, KISS, Hinder, Bob Dylan, etc. The venue also hosts one of the biggest wrestling tournaments in the United States that are the NYWA Youth Wrestling State Championships annually.
