The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts is a major theatrical concert hall which is located at 1 FrontStreet East Toronto, Ontario. The venue houses a very sophisticated acoustic system, which provides visitors with a sense of sound surrounding them. It was inaugurated on 1st October 1960 with a seating capacity of 3191 people. The venue was owned and operated by the city of Toronto government. Peter Dickinson designed the architecture of the theater.
