The architecture of the Wiltern Theater is designed by Stiles O. Clements in Art Deco style. The venue is known as one of the best visuals of Art Deco architecture in the United States. The City of Los Angeles started the Wiltern Theater as Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. The venue also made into the National Register of Historic Places.
The Wiltern Theater has been used for commercial filming, televised events, and feature film locations. It was also featured in the film "Get Crazy." The Theater is also known for hosting its live performances sponsored by Goldenvoice, Concerts West, Universal Concerts, etc. Concerts held at the venue include Tom Petty and the Foo Fighters.
