The arena opened its door for the public on July 2, 1976, with a seating capacity of around 7,000 people in total and 4,600 for the concert residencies. The arena is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation and operated by Live Nation Entertainment. The theatre went through its renovation in the years 2000 and 2012 - 2013.
