Adams Event Center, formally named as "Harry Adams Field House" or "Dahlberg Arena," is a long-standing venue of Missoula, Montana. It is located right at the base of Mount Sentinel, at the stunning University of Montana campus. The Adams Event Center is the icon of pride to Missoula offering a variety of entertainments, especially to sports and arts, since the 1950s. This event center has a 7,321-seat multi-purpose space that is the hub to major entertainment events for years.
The Adams Event Center opened 66 years ago in 1953, is now home to Lady Griz basketball teams and Montana Grizzlies. It was named after Harry F. Adams. He is the one who devoted 44 years of his service to UM. The Adams Center enjoyed a $15 million worth renovation in 1998. This renovation added some improvements to the arena along with the auxiliary facility. The renovated auxiliary facility now holds the East and West Auxiliary Gyms and the Grizzly Hall of Champions as well.
