Famous for being one of the oldest winery shops, Chateau Ste. Michelle is located in Woodinville, Washington, near Seattle. It was founded 65 years ago, in 1954 and since then it's been producing some of the finest quality Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, and Riesling. In 2004, it was selected as Winery of the year by Wine Enthusiast magazine.
Owned by Altria, which is one of the world's largest producers of products, it manages to produce 8,000,000 cases of Riesling wine per year. It covers an area of 87 acres which is mostly covered by mature trees formerly called Hollywood Farm. With each passing year, more and more winemakers are offering their services for Chateau Ste. Michelle.
Not only a spot for the wine enthusiast, Chateau Ste. Michelle brings in popular artists from around the country every summer for intimate concert experiences. The amphitheater has a seating capacity of around 4,000 seats. Some notable artists that have graced the venue with their performances include Jackson Browne, ZZ Top, Counting Crows, John Legend, and Bob Dylan.
